In a film opening, we see the name of the film, name of the cast, and the companies which help produce and distribute the movie. Also it contains some action to hook the audience and sound/music which follows the action hints the audience of what may take lace in the film. For example in the opening sequence of psycho we see the title with lines going through it, almost as if it is being slashed by a knife. |
