The editing of our film opening was done on Final Cut Pro, we put clips in the timeline, shortening them, adding effects and transitions and anything we thought worked well.
Titles were also added by the 'Text' tool in Final Cut Pro. These include, actor's name, crew members names, production company's name and all the conventions of a film opening's titile sequence.
